Why APPLES IN OCTOBER?

Our name is a metaphor. The apples left at the end of the season are the sweetest and richest apples you can get... but they don't always look the best! We wanted to create a brand for ladies approaching their middle years who want comfortable, stylish clothes that don't age them. Most clothes are made and designed for young bodies. Those that aren't don't tend to be the clothes that we want to wear. So we aim to fill that gap with comfort, quality, flexibility, a broad range of sizes, flattering lines and fun. 

 

Our mission is to bring you the highest quality, most luxurious clothing items with our unique embroidery designs. Sustainability is the most important thing to us so we promise to only sell the most organic, sustainable and eco-friendly products we can; many of our products are made from a polyester blend that contains recycled bottles and other scrap plastics.

 

Whilst we love all things embroidered, we dislike the shiny rayon threads commonly used in the embroidery business. We prefer something a little more matte and sustainable. So, instead, we are using a new plant-based thread made with a new technology avoiding plastics and crude oil use. We hope you like the look and feel of our designs.
